Culture Club ''Rybitwy'' in Krakow
The slideshow entitled "Kenai National Wildlife Refuge – Alaska in miniature" was held on November 9th, 2012 in abode of the "Rybitwy" Culture Club in Krakow. In small building, where cultural life of the settlement "Rybitwy" prospers every day, gathered over 20 people and however the attendance was not stunning I was impressed, that in spite of bad weather there appeared hotheads who preferred to spend this evening with Alaska instead of sitting at the front of TV with a remote control. To the slideshow there came people in different age, both young folks and seniors – all of them interested in wildlife and travels, fascinated in famous but still barely known Alaska. After the slideshow I answered questions from the guests’ side and also said a few more anecdotes, which are always in demand. Like always, almost two-hour slideshow passed in pleasant atmosphere, which softened a bit the autumn spell of foul weather ruling outside the Club (photo 1-6). On May 18th, 2017 took place in the Club multimedia lesson of geography and wildlife entitled "The Table Mountains. Mysterious world of the Rock Towns", which I presented to the pupils of local primary school (photo 7-12). On September 27th, 2017 took place in the Club multimedia lesson of geography and wildlife entitled "The Bialowieza Primeval Forest. The kingdom of a wood bison" (photo 13-18). On May 24th, 2018 took place a slideshow entitled "The Biebrza River Valley. The last wild wetlands of Europe" (photo 19-24). On November 19th, 2018 took place a slideshow entitled "The Pieniny Mountains. Mountains carved with wind and water" (photo 25-30). On March 10th, 2021 took place a slideshow entitled "The Bieszczady Mountains. The land of boundless montane meadows" (photo 31-36). On June 7th, 2021 took place a slideshow entitled "Wolin Island. The Pearl of Western Pomerania " (photo 37-42).
