The Tatra Mountains Polish Society in Chrzanow

The slideshow entitled "Kenai National Wildlife Refuge – Alaska in miniature" was held on November 14^th, 2012 in the Municipal Center of Culture, Sport & Recreation in Chrzanow, where the Polish Tatra Society organizes meetings with travelers on every Wednesday. Thanks to initiative of the Society’s president Mr. Remigiusz Lichota the lecture took place in modern and professionally equipped conference room, what improved the perception of presented photographs. To the slideshow there came about 70 persons in different age, both students and seniors, mostly regular frequenters of travel meetings – this time truly interested in wildlife of Alaska and stories from my journey. Traditionally, after the lecture I answered questions from the guests’ side, there were also commemorative pictures and thanks. And so succeeding evening with Alaska passed in nice atmosphere and friendly company (photo 1-6). On February 6^th, 2013 in Chrzanow took place another slideshow about my expedition to Alaska, this time entitled "Koyukuk & Nowitna National Wildlife Refuges – In the Valley of Central Yukon River". Like previously the atmosphere of meeting was very nice and guests turned up (there came 50 persons) in spite of intensive snow fall (photo 7-12). On October 1^st, 2014 in Chrzanow took place another slideshow, this time about one of my travels around Poland, entitled "The Biebrza River Valley. The last wild wetlands of Europe" (photo 13-18). On November 5^th, 2014 in Chrzanow took place slideshow entitled "The Pieniny Mountains with the Dunajec River Gap. Mountains carved with wind and water" (photo 19-24). On March 11^th, 2015 took place slideshow entitled "Thassos. Emerald island of sunny Greece" (photo 25-30). On December 2^nd, 2015 took place slideshow entitled "The Bieszczady Mountains. A land of mountain meadows and the Carpathian beech forest" (photo 31-36). On March 2^nd, 2016 took place slideshow entitled "The Bialowieza Primeval Forest. The kingdom of a wood bison" (photo 37-42). On October 5^th, 2016 took place slideshow entitled "The Giant Mountains. Mythical land of the Spirit of Mountains" (photo 43-48). On March 15^th, 2017 took place slideshow entitled "The Table Mountains. Mysterious world of the Rock Towns" (photo 49-54).
