Earth Days in Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski

On May 8^th 2014, within sumptuous celebrations of the XI Earth Days organized by the Municipal Culture Center in Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski, I had a pleasure to present two slideshows about Alaska, i.e. "The Kenai Peninsula – Alaska in miniature" and "Valley of the Yukon River – In the Interior of Alaska". The listeners were over four hundreds of pupils and teachers from local schools and so far it was my biggest audience. In the late afternoon took place official opening of three photo exhibitions (including mine about Alaska) with special guest from Krakow – deputy U. S. Consul General Mr. Vanja Vukota. Words of appreciation and respect should go to Mrs. Jolanta Zawisza from the MCC, who was the originator and main organizer of the Earth Days.
