Children’s University in Mielec
On March 19th 2016, in one of halls of the Municipal Culture Center in Mielec, took place the slideshow entitled "The Bieszczady Mountains. A land of mountain meadows and the Carpathian beech forest". This lecture was held in the frame of regular classes, which had been organized within the Children’s University of Mielec for few dozens of children being 9-12 years old. Among many topics presented during the slideshow the most interesting for kids were photographs and curiosities about wild animals living in the Bieszczady Mountians, i.e. brown bears, wood bisons, birds and colorful butterflies. They also became interested in a historic narrow-gauge railway that still operates in this region of Poland and is considered as one of the best touristic attractions (photo 1-6). On May 13th, 2017 took place another slideshow and movie entitled "The Biebrza River Valley. The last wild wetlands of Europe" (photo 7-12).
