University of the Third Age in Hrubieszow
The slideshow entitled "The Kenai Peninsula – Alaska in miniature" was held on February 20th, 2014 in the conference hall of the City Hall in Hrubieszow, within the University of the Third Age which operates under the hall’s wing. To the lecture there came 25-30 seniors, who have participated actively in different classes and workshops organized by the UTA, including lectures about wildlife, geography and culture. Almost two-hour meeting had passed in the blink of an eye and then appeared questions, which suggested great interest of Alaska among guests. However a few persons pointed out, that probably they would never be able to see this beautiful recess of the earth on their own eyes but my colorful slideshow gave them a substitute of their own journey around Alaska (photo 1-6). Another slideshow, this time entitled "The Biebrza River Valley. The last wild wetlands of Europe" was held on January 15th, 2015 in the abode of Association of Active Animators in Culture located in Hrubieszow. From some time local University of the Third Age has been organizing its lectures in this building. There came about 20 persons to the meeting, who actively take part in different workshops and works of the university (photo 7-12).
