Academy of the Third Age in Jaroslaw
The slideshow entitled "The Kenai Peninsula – Alaska in miniature" was held on January 13th, 2014 in the Municipal Public Library in Jaroslaw, within Academy of the Third Age which dynamically operates under the library’s wing. Just before the lecture there was a concert of Christmas carols performed by the Feast Song Band, training within the ATA. About 70-80 active seniors came to the lecture, this time being tempted by a meeting with a traveler and possibility of listening to his interesting stories about Alaska, people living across this land and its wildlife. Two-hour lecture roused many positive emotions among ATA members and surely brought closer them to this remote and still wild recess of the world (photo 1-6). On December 1st, 2014 in Jaroslaw took place another slideshow, this time about one of my nature travels around north-east Poland, entitled "The Biebrza River Valley. The last wild wetlands of Europe" (photo 7-12). On March 3rd, 2015 took place slideshow about my journey to Greece entitled "Thassos. Emerald island of sunny Greece" (photo 13-18).
