University of the Third Age in Kety

The slideshow entitled "The Kenai Peninsula – Alaska in miniature" was held on February 10^th, 2014 in the building of the Municipal Culture Center in Kety, within a series of lectures designed for members of local University of the Third Age. About 100 persons came to the meeting, mostly seniors being regular members of the UTA, but also several children who came under the care of their grandparents. Before the lecture there had come time for formalities i.e. registrations in student’s books, while after it there appeared questions from the guests’ side. The round of applause, which I received, confirmed my opinion that Alaska has made a big impression not only on me.
