University of the Third Age in Lubliniec

The slideshow entitled "The Kenai Peninsula – Alaska in miniature" was held on April 1^st, 2014 in one of the rooms belonging to the Edith Stein Museum in Lubliniec. There came 30 persons to the meeting, including mostly seniors being regular members of local University of the Third Age. From the very beginning the atmosphere of this evening was very pleasant and there appeared common understanding between the audience and the lecturer, thus the lecture stayed interactive until its end. Traditionally, after the slideshow there were numerous questions from the guests’ side, which have allowed to suppose that Alaska will stay in their memory for long months (photo 1-6). On December 2^nd, 2014 in Lubliniec took place another slideshow, this time about one of my nature travels around north-east Poland, entitled "The Biebrza River Valley. The last wild wetlands of Europe" (photo 7-12). On May 12^th, 2015 took place the slideshow entitled "Thassos. Emerald island of sunny Greece". Attendance and mood were good as usual, especially that the UTA’s members were just preparing for their own trip to one of Greek islands (photo 13-18).
