University of the Third Age in Ozarow Mazowiecki
The slideshow entitled "The Kenai Peninsula – Alaska in miniature" was held on January 30th, 2014 in the abode of University of the Third Age in Ozarow Mazowiecki, located in the building of local Culture Center. About 30-40 persons came to the lecture, mostly seniors being regular members of the UTA, eager to see photographs and listen to stories from remote Alaska. Because of very low temperatures and strong wind raving outside the building most of guests had expected that the climate of the lecture would be adequate to weather. Meanwhile Alaska surprised everybody and during these two hours it became a lovely, colorful and much warmer land, than this one visible behind frosted windows (photo 1-5). On November 28th, 2014 in Ozarow Mazowiecki took place another slideshow, this time about one of my nature travels around north-east Poland, entitled "The Biebrza River Valley. The last wild wetlands of Europe" (photo 6-12). On December 10th, 2015 took place slideshow entitled "Thassos Island. The emerald land in sunny Greece" (photo 13-18). On January 22nd, 2016 took place the slideshow entitled "The Bieszczady Mountains. A land of mountain meadows and the Carpathian beech forest" (photo 19-24). On February 25th, 2016 took place the slideshow entitled "The Pieniny Mountains with the Dunajec River Gap. Mountains carved with wind and water" (photo 25-30). On October 7th, 2016 took place the slideshow entitled "The Giant Mountains. Mythical land of the Spirit of Mountains" (photo 31-36).
