University of the Third Age in Tomaszow Lubelski
The slideshow entitled "The Kenai Peninsula – Alaska in miniature" was held on February 20th, 2014 in the conference hall of the City Hall in Tomaszow Lubelski, within the University of the Third Age which dynamically operates under the hall’s wing. There came 50-60 persons interested in unusual subject of the lecture, i.e. slideshow combined with stories about three-month expedition to Alaska. Almost two-hour meeting passed in very pleasant atmosphere and round of applause, which appeared at the end of the lecture, together with compliments and numerous questions were the best proof for me that the slideshow was treated with great enthusiasm. At the end there came time for formalities, i.e. registrations in student’s books, but also appeared an opportunity for a commemorative photo of all participants of the meeting (photo 1-6). Another slideshow, this time entitled "The Pieniny Mountains & the Dunajec River Gorge. Mountains carved by wind and water" was held on January 15th, 2015. Like previously the atmosphere of meeting was very nice and guests turned up (photo 7-12). On January 21st, 2016 took place the slideshow entitled "The Bieszczady Mountains. A land of mountain meadows and the Carpathian beech forest (photo 13-18). On January 11th, 2018 took place the slideshow combined with projection of the movie entitled "The Bialowieza Primeval Forest. The kingdom of a wood bison" (photo 19-24). On January 17th, 2019 took place a slideshow combined with projection of the movie entitled "The Giant Mountains. Mythical land of the Spirit of Mountains" (photo 25-30). On January 9th, 2020 took place a slideshow entitled "The Biebrza River Valley. The last wild wetlands of Europe" (photo 31-36).
